Bac Ninh approves 28.3 trillion VND urban project in Van Trung
BAC NINH - Bac Ninh authorities have approved an investment policy for the Van Trung New Urban Area project in Nenh Ward with a total estimated investment of more than 28.3 trillion VND (1.07 billion USD).
The project aims to improve urban infrastructure, meet local socio-economic development needs and make more effective use of land resources in line with approved zoning plans.

The 102.1-hectare development will be implemented through an open bidding process to select an investor and will include integrated technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and urban facilities.
The project plans to build 972 five-storey townhouse units with a combined floor area of around 444,883 square metres.
It will also feature mixed-use high-rise buildings ranging from 20 to 35 storeys with a total floor area of approximately 850,766 square metres.
In addition, two 20-storey social housing complexes with a combined floor area of around 366,314 square metres will be constructed, including long-term rental housing units.
Commercial and service facilities with a total floor area of about 147,846 square metres, including hotels, offices, serviced apartments and retail services, will also be developed as part of the project.
Once completed, the Van Trung New Urban Area is expected to provide housing for around 29,691 residents.
The project has a total estimated investment of more than 28.3 trillion VND including around 548 billion VND allocated for compensation and site clearance.
