Bac Ninh approves nearly 2.8 trillion VND investment for Ha Bac 1 bridge project
BAC NINH - Bac Ninh authorities have approved an investment policy for the construction of the Ha Bac 1 Bridge spanning the Cau River and a connecting road linking provincial road DT.295C with Lac Long Quan Road, with a total investment of nearly 2.8 trillion VND (106.6 million USD).
The decision was signed by Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong.

The project will be implemented in Kinh Bac and Van Ha wards with a total length of about 2,950 metres. The Ha Bac 1 Bridge itself will stretch approximately 1,063.6 metres, while approach roads on both sides will total around 1,886.4 metres.
The route will begin at the roundabout in front of the Press Centre in Kinh Bac Ward and end at the retaining wall behind abutment M2, connecting with provincial road DT.298B, which links Hanoi's Ring Road No. 4 with the new bridge, in Van Ha Ward.
The bridge will feature a cross-section width of 33.5 metres, including six lanes for motor vehicles and two mixed-traffic lanes, together with medians, safety barriers and a synchronised railing system.
Classified as a Group B public investment project, the scheme has a total investment capital of 2.799 trillion VND and will be funded by the provincial budget.
The project is expected to require approximately 14.97 hectares of land and will be implemented between 2026 and 2029, with 2026 designated for investment preparation activities.
The Bac Ninh No. 2 Transport and Agriculture Project Management Board has been assigned to coordinate with relevant agencies to organise an architectural design competition and complete the feasibility study for submission to competent authorities for final approval.
Authorities in Kinh Bac and Van Ha wards will be responsible for compensation, resettlement and land clearance work in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
