The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial National Assembly delegation, Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee along with provincial leaders and Pham Thieu Hoa, Chairman of Vinhomes JSC and a member of Vingroup.

The project, located north of Kinh Bac Ward, covers nearly 270 hectares and has total investment of more than 41 trillion VND (1.57 billion USD).

It is connected to major transport routes, commercial and service areas and key urban functions of Bac Ninh.

Situated alongside the Cau River and featuring a natural lake, the project includes nearly 57 hectares of green space and water surfaces, while its overall construction density is capped at below 20%.

The development will comprise villas, townhouses and mixed-use apartment buildings, together with schools, a Vinmec clinic, a shopping centre, entertainment and sports facilities, parks and community spaces.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, said the project would help improve urban infrastructure connectivity, make better use of the landscape along the Cau River and create new development space for Bac Ninh.

He called on the investor to mobilise sufficient financial, human and technical resources to ensure the project's progress, quality, safety and efficiency, while complying with regulations on investment, construction, land, environmental protection, fire prevention and occupational safety.

He also urged contractors and consultants to ensure construction quality and safety while minimising disruption to local residents.

Provincial agencies and Kinh Bac Ward were asked to coordinate with the investor to resolve difficulties and ensure the project complies with approved planning and regulations.
