Bac Ninh female wrestler Do Ngoc Linh wins SEA Games gold in women’s 50kg freestyle
BAC NINH - On the afternoon of December 18, wrestler Do Ngoc Linh from Bac Ninh competed in the women’s 50kg freestyle wrestling final at the 33rd SEA Games.
Facing a Myanmar opponent in the final, Do Ngoc Linh delivered an impressive performance, executing a well-judged tactical plan and a series of precise attacks.

The young wrestler showed strong composure, effectively controlling the bout and transitioning quickly between phases to score consecutively. Her dominance led to a convincing victory and secured a well-deserved gold medal.
The triumph marked Do Ngoc Linh’s first SEA Games gold medal of her career, reflecting not only her thorough preparation and consistent form but also contributing to Vietnam’s Sports Delegation in strengthening its position among the leading teams on the medals table.
As of the afternoon of December 18, athletes from Bac Ninh province had won a total of 12 medals for Vietnam at SEA Games 33, comprising seven golds, two silvers and three bronzes.
