Bac Ninh honours businesses, individuals for investment and tax contributions
BAC NINH - Bac Ninh authorities have honoured four organisations and two individuals for outstanding contributions to investment attraction and state budget payments, recognising the role of businesses and investors in the city's economic development.
At a regular meeting of the Bac Ninh municipal People's Committee (MPC) on October 5, MPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son presented commendations to the awardees.

The four organisations were the Bac Ninh Industrial Parks Authority, Western Pacific Infrastructure JSC, Cooler Master Manufacturing (Vietnam) Co Ltd and Micro Commercial Components Vietnam Co Ltd.
The two individuals were Kim Yong Sup, Deputy General Director in charge of external affairs at Samsung Electronics Vietnam, and Hu Xue Tong, Deputy General Director of Micro Commercial Components Vietnam.
The Bac Ninh Industrial Parks Authority was recognised for its work in industrial park management, investment promotion and investor support.
In the first nine months of 2026, Bac Ninh attracted 18.74 billion USD in investment capital, up 22.5% from a year earlier, including 171 newly registered domestic projects and 264 foreign-invested projects.
The city ranked third nationwide in FDI attraction, after Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen province.
Cooler Master Manufacturing (Vietnam), based in Gia Binh Industrial Park, produces electronic components and raised its investment capital to 475 million USD in May 2026.
The company paid more than 5.1 billion VND (over 196,138 USD) to the state budget in 2025 and nearly 2 billion VND in the first five months of 2026.
Micro Commercial Components Vietnam, a wholly foreign-owned company under China's Yangjie Electronic Technology Group, operates in semiconductor equipment and electronic component research and manufacturing.
It is implementing a 215 million USD high-tech semiconductor project and paid more than 121,500 USD in taxes in 2025 and nearly 207,200 USD in the first six months of 2026.
Western Pacific Infrastructure, which invests in and develops industrial park and integrated logistics infrastructure, is the developer of Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park.
It has paid more than 537 billion VND in compensation for land clearance under an approved plan, helping create a clean land fund for the industrial park and prepare it to receive high-quality FDI.
Kim Yong Sup was recognised for helping strengthen Samsung's strategic external relations and supporting the expansion of its high-tech complex in Yen Phong Industrial Park. Samsung opened its SIC High-Tech Talent Development Centre in April 2026 as part of its efforts to prepare for the semiconductor industry.
Samsung Electronics Vietnam paid 125 million USD to the state budget in 2025 and 120 million USD in the first six months of 2026, making it one of the city's largest taxpayers.
Hu Xue Tong was recognised for directly overseeing the semiconductor equipment project at Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park and helping raise its total investment to 215 million USD.

The company also fulfilled its financial obligations, paying more than 121,500 USD to the state budget in 2025 and nearly 207,200 USD in the first half of 2026.
At the event, the MPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son praised the awardees and said the commendations marked the first investment-related awards since Bac Ninh became a centrally governed city.
He said the contribution of businesses and investors had helped attract development resources, increase state revenue and create momentum for socio-economic development.
The municipal leader called on investors and businesses to continue working closely with the city, expand investment and production, improve operational efficiency, fulfil their obligations to the state and contribute to social welfare, helping Bac Ninh pursue rapid and sustainable development.
