On July 12, the Industrial Technical College (belonging to the Ministry of Industry and Trade) located in Bac Giang ward organised a ceremony to announce the Ministry of Education and Training’s Decision recognising it as a high-quality college and establishment of the Center for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation.

Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training gives Decision on recognition of the Industrial Technical College as a high-quality college.

Currently, the Industrial Technical College has a training scale of over 8,000 students with 40 majors and faculties. It enrolls from 3,600 to 4,000 students each year.

The College has been designated to provide training in 3 internationally key occupations, 3 nationally prioritized occupations and 1 regionally prioritized occupation.

Many of its training programs have been accredited for quality assurance.

The Industrial Technical College establishes the Center for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation.

In recent years, the College has promoted cooperation with more than 40 internatioanl training institutions and nearly 100 big domestic and global corporations to implement training programmes attached to production requirements, scientific research and job creation for students.

Around 96 percent of graduates secure employment within 6 months of graduation.

Especially, the College has collaborated with its partners to establish the Semiconductor, Artificial Intelligence and New Energy Training Center with a total investment of approximately 45 billion VND (1.7 million USD).

The Center is equipped with modern laboratories and practical training facilities. It serves as an important foundation for developing highly-quality human resources in strategic technology sectors, contributing to meeting demand for industrial development of Bac Ninh province and Vietnam in the new stage.

In line with the announcement ceremony, the College established the Center for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation.

The Industrial Technical College holds a graduate handover ceremony for enterprises.

It will help to stimulate scientific research, technology transfer and connection with businesses, contributing to forming an innovation ecosystem in vocational education and training, while meeting the demand for highly skilled human resources in cutting-edge industries.

On this occasion, Rector of the College Dao Duc Quang was awarded certificate of merit by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Besides, the College received the certificate of merit by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee for its outstanding achievements in education and human resource development.

Also at this event, the College held a graduate handover ceremony for its partner enterprises, demonstrating the effectiveness of its training model, which is closely aligned with the practical needs of businesses and the labor market.

Vietnam launches comprehensive reform to improve vocational training quality for rural workers

By 2030, the programme targets providing vocational training, retraining and skills upgrading for approximately 1.5 million rural workers annually. The employment rate after training is expected to exceed 85%.

 

Vietnam–Germany advance digital classrooms in vocational education

The “Digital Classroom” model follows five German-standard pillars covering digitalised school management, lecturer capacity building, interactive digital learning resources, modern teaching infrastructure, and stronger links between vocational schools and businesses. The model will be adapted to local vocational education conditions in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Deal signed to boost high-tech vocational training

BAC NINH - Vietnam-Korea College of Technology in Bac Giang (VK-Tech), South Korea’s Kyungwoon University and Letuin High-Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd have signed a cooperation agreement to develop high-tech vocational training programmes in 2026 and the following period from 2027 to 2030.

Industrial Technical College partners with Chinese institute for vocational training

BAC NINH - As part of a cooperation programme between Industrial Technical College, GoerTek Vina Science and Technology Co., Ltd. In Que Vo industrial park and Guangxi Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College in China, 53 students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering - Automation and the Faculty of Electronics - Informatics will join a six-month training course at Guangxi Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College from December 2025 to May 2026 (first cohort).
