Bac Ninh leaders attend inauguration of Ho Chi Minh Temple, Van Mieu Park
BAC NINH - Bac Ninh provincial leaders have recently attended the inauguration ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh Temple and Van Mieu Park, which are among the projects marking Bac Ninh's establishment as a centrally governed city.
The ceremony on September 16 was attended by Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial National Assembly delegation, and Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee,

Construction of the technical infrastructure and auxiliary facilities at Van Mieu Park began in January 2025. The project covers about 4.7 hectares and comprises three sections, with total investment of more than 691 billion VND (about 27 million USD).
Almost all items under the approved construction drawing design have now been completed, with 99% of the contracted work volume finished.

The facilities funded through social contributions in the third section, including the Ho Chi Minh Temple and lotus pond, have also been completed. The bas-relief and monument to President Ho Chi Minh are also largely completed.
Speaking at the ceremony, Pham Hoang Son said Bac Ninh-Kinh Bac is a land rich in historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions.

Bac Ninh had the honour of welcoming President Ho Chi Minh on 22 occasions to visit and work in the province.
Against that historical backdrop, the construction of the Ho Chi Minh Temple in Bac Ninh carries great significance and reflects the respect and gratitude of the Party organisation, authorities and people for President Ho Chi Minh.

The provincial leader said the completion of the temple and the Ho Chi Minh monument at the site would help foster local pride and provide motivation for generations of Bac Ninh residents to study, work and contribute to the development of their homeland.
