Regarding disbursement of public investment, the total disbursement value reached 16.8 trillion VND (652 million USD) as of October 31, equivalent to 69 percent of the detailed plan allocated by the city and 104.6 percent of the capital target assigned by the Prime Minister at the beginning of the year.

Based on the opinions voiced at the meeting, MPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son urged the departments, agencies and localities to race the final push with strong determination to achieve all socio-economic development targets in 2026.

Besides, he requested to urgently review and assess the key tasks, especially incomplete targets, while clearly identifying the persons in charge, specific tasks and implementation timelines.

It is necessary to strengthen daily and weekly monitoring, supervision and follow-up, regularly update and provide appropriate data to ensure accurate and transparent assessment of the implementation of the city's socio-economic development targets.

The MPC Chairman directed all-level authorities and agencies to concentrate on removing obstacles facing production and business, improving investment climate and enhancing sense of responsibility in receiving and addressing recommendations and concerns raised by businesses and residents to ensure timely resolution in accordance with laws.

He added it is essential to focus on accelerating land clearance and implementation progress of investment projects in infrastructure development of industrial parks and clusters to drive economic growth.

He also requested to enhance the sense of responsibility and proactively address arising issues at the grassroots level to prevent emergence of complicated situations that can adversely affect social security and order as well as the people's living.
