An overview of the meeting.

The meeting on September 21 was attended by Pham Van Thinh, member of the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, along with representatives of several city departments.

The businesses congratulated Bac Ninh on becoming Vietnam’s ninth centrally governed city. Liu An, General Director of Huawei Vietnam, and representatives of the companies introduced their capabilities, strategic partnerships and plans for sustainable development.

The discussions focused on research and implementation of solar power projects, particularly rooftop solar systems.

The two sides also discussed opportunities to connect investors directly with industrial parks and businesses in Bac Ninh to accelerate investment surveys and projects and contribute to the development of the renewable energy sector.

The municipal Party Chief Nguyen Hong Thai said the city was committed to promoting the transition to clean energy, particularly the development of rooftop solar power systems, and welcomed cooperation with businesses in renewable energy.

He asked the companies to study rooftop solar models suited to the conditions of industrial parks and businesses in the city, while ensuring investment efficiency and system safety.

He also called for comprehensive clean-energy solutions covering solar power, energy storage and efficient energy management and use, with priority given to solutions that can be implemented in practice and deliver direct benefits to businesses and industrial parks.

The city also encouraged the companies to openly raise concerns during project implementation and said it was ready to provide support. It further called on investors to explore opportunities in other potential sectors.
