Updated: 15:54, 22/10/2026

BAC NINH – The Bac Ninh municipal People’s Committee held a conference to connect suppliers of the city’s signature and key fruits with domestic and international markets in 2026.

Pham Van Thinh, member of the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee (MPC), chaired the event on October 21.

MPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh delivers concluding remarks at the conference.

Representatives from businesses, localities, shopping centres, cooperatives and fruit production, processing and distribution organisations discussed market demand, supply capacity, product quality requirements, standards, packaging, preservation and transportation.

They also proposed measures to strengthen market links and improve the distribution of local fruits.

Concluding the conference, the MPC Vice Chairman called for practical and effective trade promotion, marketing and distribution activities for the city’s key fruits, stressing the need to increase product value and farmers’ incomes.

Regarding the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2026, scheduled for December, he called for a suitable venue and stronger communications to attract large numbers of residents and visitors.

The festival should also feature specialised seminars on orchard tourism, crop varieties and agricultural production technologies, he said.

Delegates witness the signing of agreements on the distribution of Bac Ninh’s key and distinctive fruits in 2026.

These activities are expected to help strengthen the brand of Bac Ninh fruits, expand markets and drive the development of high-quality, sustainable commercial agriculture.

The conference also witnessed the signing of memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements on the distribution of oranges, pomelos, apples, guavas and other distinctive local agricultural products.

The agreements involved corporations, businesses, shopping centres, cooperatives engaged in fruit production and processing, distributors and e-commerce platforms.
