Besides, each commune and ward must organise at least 1 digital transformation training programme for stores and business households.
100 percent of OCOP entities and outstanding business households in traditional craft villages will be assisted in establishing websites using the “biz.vn” domain.
Other stores and business households in need will be also supported in obtaining digital signatures and using the national domain name “.vn”.
In order to meet the schedule, people’s committee of the communes and wards are required to assign a communal-level leader to direct supervision and accelerating the implementation while collaborating with grassroots-level customs authorities and businesses to develop detailed action plans.
The Department of Science and Technology will act as the standing agency to coordinate implementation of the plan, assign targets to each commune and ward, encourage involvement of digital technology businesses and periodically review and cross-check the results.
The Department of Industry and Trade will encourage stores and retail chains to participate in the programme and help business households that have established websites with “biz.vn” domains to connect to reputable e-commerce platforms.
The Department of Science and Technology will announce the rankings of all 99 communes and wards based on their monthly rates of target completion, thereby creating momentum for digital transformation across the wholesale and retail sector.
