BAFU students begin international semester in China
BAC NINH - Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University (BAFU) in Bac Ninh city has sent 68 students to China for a six-month international semester under a training cooperation programme linking universities, businesses and foreign vocational education institutions.
The group includes 24 Chinese-language students and 14 students majoring in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, who will study and train at Guangxi Agricultural Vocational and Technical University.

Another 24 Chinese-language students and six accounting students will study and undertake internships at Guangxi Vocational and Technical Teachers College.
The 14 students majoring in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine have received full scholarships covering one semester at Guangxi Agricultural Vocational and Technical University.
The remaining students have been granted tuition waivers, accommodation in university dormitories and living allowances of about 6,000 yuan (895 USD) per student per semester.
During their stay, the students will receive academic and practical training using modern equipment and production lines.

They will also have opportunities to improve their Chinese communication skills, consolidate their academic knowledge and strengthen their ability to adapt to international study and work environments.
The programme is part of the university's efforts to improve training quality, expand cooperation in education and student exchanges, and promote international integration.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry has organised an international semester programme in China.
