The programme is attracting the participation of more than 100 people from 14 ethnic groups including Nung, Tay, H’mong, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Xo Dang, and Raglai, from cities and provinces across the country, who are set to introduce visitors to their traditional rituals and festivals.

Children learn about traditional weaving crafts at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

Children to the village are invited to participate in a myriad of folk games such as ‘pao’ (cloth ball) throwing, tug of war, and walking on stilts. They can also learn to play traditional musical instruments and compete in a drawing contest themed ‘I love my village’.

In addition, children can participate in activities to explore the traditional architecture, folklore arts, festivals, and customs of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Ao dai festival honors traditional culture and beauty of Vietnamese women
