After graduating from Hanoi Medical College in 2011, Thien decided to go back home and joined local Youth task. With his activeness and high responsibility, he was admitted to the Party in 2014.

Promoting the youth strength, he has tried to work in many fields such as animal husbandry, forest plantation and labour export. Acknowledging local advantages for agriculture development, in 2021 he hired nearly 1.5 hectare of field from local farmers to grow diverse vegetables and fruits like tomato, cabbage, cucumber among others.

To ensure food safety, he uses organic fertilizers and bio products for the crops instead of chemical ones. Currently, the crops can be harvested all the year round. The products are sold to some adjacent provinces.

With 1.5 hectare of vegetable, his family annually earns profit of 100 million VND (over 4,300 USD) and creates stable job to 3 local labours with average income of 6 million VND per month.

“I will research and study more about safety vegetable production then build VietGAP vegetable and fruit growing area,” Thien shared.

Playing the role of Vice Head of Trai Chua village, Thien is not only an examplary in good business but also takes lead in all movement. Thus, local households in the village follow his model.

Now, Yen Dinh commune prepares Project and selects VietGAP vegetable growing model of Thien’s family to support and develop product under One Commune One Product programme so as to help the commune realize new style rural target.
