A photo display themed ‘Traditional festivals in Vietnam’ will be staged on the occasion, featuring more than 80 pictures selected by the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts and the Vietnam Heritage Magazine.

There will also be a space introducing the cultural practices, tourism potential, cuisine and specialties of many cities and provinces across the country.

Meanwhile, the second section will be dedicated to showcasing handicraft products from time-honour traditional craft villages nationwide, such as the Bat Trang pottery, Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo weaving village, Ha Thai lacquerware making village, Van Phuc silk village, and Thanh Tien paper flower making village.

Visitors to the event will be entertained with performances of folk art forms, such as ca tru (ceremonial singing), Quan Ho (love duet) singing, Xoan (spring) singing, and Don Don Ca Tai Tu (a genre of amateur folk music from southern Vietnam) and can participate in various folk games and cultural exchange events.
