Updated: 11:28, 08/10/2026

BAC NINH - China’s Haizhichen Qingdao Industrial Equipment Group is exploring cooperation with Bac Ninh in training high-tech workers in automation, artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies, the municipal government said.

On October 7, Pham Van Thinh, Standing Committee Member of the Bac Ninh Municipal Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee (MPC), received a delegation from Haizhichen Group for a courtesy visit and discussions on potential cooperation in high-tech workforce training, automation and artificial intelligence.

MPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh talks with representative of Haizhichen Group.

Chen Dong, Chairman of Haizhichen Group, briefed the meeting on the company’s development, production and business activities and outlined its plans to cooperate in training, human-resource development and technology transfer.

Haizhichen is a Chinese high-tech company specializing in the research and manufacture of smart production equipment, machine-vision solutions and industrial automation systems.

It has experience in implementing school-enterprise cooperation models, working with technical education institutions to provide specialized training linked to companies’ practical workforce needs.

In Vietnam, the group plans to expand cooperation with educational institutions, businesses and local authorities to train high-skilled technical workers for industries including manufacturing, electronics and semiconductors.

Haizhichen executives said they hoped Bac Ninh would support the implementation of vocational training programmes, allowing students to gain access to modern curricula and hands-on training under school-enterprise models that reflect real-world business requirements.

The MPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh said Bac Ninh placed a strong emphasis on developing human resources, particularly in science and technology and artificial intelligence, to meet the requirements of the city’s development in a new phase.

The city is ready to facilitate Haizhichen’s efforts to explore and implement cooperation opportunities in Bac Ninh, provided that such activities comply with Vietnamese law, he said.

The municipal leader called on Haizhichen to develop a detailed cooperation programme following the meeting and hold working sessions with the municipal Department of Education and Training, relevant agencies and educational institutions to agree on an implementation plan.

He also encouraged local colleges and universities to proactively work with the company to assess workforce needs and explore opportunities for investment and training cooperation.

Relevant institutions should identify suitable fields and training programmes with a view to developing a high-quality workforce capable of meeting the socio-economic development needs of Bac Ninh and Vietnam, he said.
