Hiep Hoa attracts investment in Industrial Clusters

(BGO) – Under the development plan for the Industrial Clusters (ICs) in the northern province of Bac Giang, there are six ICs in Hiep Hoa district including Duc Thang, Doan Bai, Hop Thinh, Ha Thinh, Thanh Van and Viet Nhat ICs, three of which have been operated and occupied.

Particularly, Duc Thang IC (Duc Thang commune) covers 7 hectares with the major businesses of garment, mechanic, wine, beer and gasoline, creating jobs for more than 2,200 labors while being fully occupied. Doan Bai IC (Doan Bai commune) is located at a 42.8 hectare land with the occupancy rate of 93.2 percent, recruiting over 7,200 workers. Whereas Hop Thinh IC (Hop Thinh commune) covering 72.9 hectares has an occupancy of 66.7 percent and nearly 1,000 labors.

The remaining ones are Ha Thinh IC (in Dai Thanh and Hop Thinh communes) in 69 hectares currently under site clearance with the major business of garment and textile; Thanh Van IC (Thanh Van commune) and Viet Nhat IC (Huong Lam commune) each covering 50 hectares still on the detail plan.
