More than 4,000 workers in Bac Giang’s IP register to work through Lunar New Year

BAC GIANG - Although there are nearly 20 days left until the 2024 Lunar New Year, nearly 20 enterprises in the industrial parks (IP) of Bac Giang province have registered to operate throughout Tet in order to ensure production progress for orders.

According to the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, up to now, about 20 enterprises in several IP of Quang Chau, Vietnam - Korea, Van Trung, Dinh Tram (in Viet Yen district); Hoa Phu (in Hiep Hoa district) and Song Khe - Noi Hoang (in Bac Giang City) have registered to work during the upcoming Lunar New Year (from February 9 to the end of February 14 or December 30 to the end of the 5th day of Tet) with a total of more than 4,000 workers.

By the end of January 2024, the total number of investment projects in Bac Giang's IP reaches 490 projects, including 376 projects with foreign investment capital, 114 projects with domestic investment capital. 424 enterprises are now operating.

Most enterprises in the IP still maintain stable production and business activities. Many foreign-invested enterprises have a good growth rate such as companies belonging to Foxconn Technology Group, solar panel manufacturers and those operating in mechanical and manufacturing industries...
