The meeting was also attended by Pham Van Thinh, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and Head of the provincial delegation to the National Assembly Deputies, representatives of related departments, agencies and leaders of JA Solar Vietnam Company Limited.

At the meeting, Li ShaoHui informed JA Solar started its investment in Bac Ninh in 2016.

Since then, it has developed 3 projects in Quang Chau and Vietnam-Korea industrial parks (IP) including JA Solar Vietnam Company Limited, JA Solar photovoltaic cell technology project and production of silicon ingots, wafers and high-efficiency photovoltaic cells.

These projects are valued at 967 million USD in total, using nearly 50 hectares of land. The company contributed 490 billion VND (approx. 19 million USD) to the state budget in 2025.

The corporation’s representatives also presented their plan for production restructuring and developing more products and consumer markets.

The photovoltaic cell technology project is expected to make important contributions to the green energy industry of Vietnam and Bac Ninh particularly.

Li ShaoHui hoped that the provincial People’s Committee would facilitate JA Solar Vietnam through appropriate mechanisms and policies for enterprises engaged in the new energy industry.

Besides, JA Solar’s representative expected the province to provide incentive and support policies for effective performance of JA Solar PV Vietnam photovoltaic cell technology project, contributing to advancing Vietnam’s solar cell industry to a new height.

The provincial Chairman stressed Bac Ninh province is willing to accompany, support and facilitate enterprises for their stable operation, investment expansion and sustainable development.

PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son assigned the PPC’s Office, Department of Industry and Trade and related agencies to establish a task force to support JA Solar Vietnam and other enterprises entitled to incentives from the Investment Support Fund, creating momentum for business development.
