The programme follows a three-stage model. Students first complete their core professional studies at Ly Thai To College before undertaking advanced training at Shandong Transport Vocational College and the Goertek Vietnam Training Centre, where they gain exposure to advanced technologies, an international learning environment and enhanced foreign-language skills.

Students receive certificates for the "1+1+1 Talent Training" programme at the graduation ceremony.

In the final stage, participants undertake paid engineering internships at Goertek Vina, allowing them to transition directly from academic training to practical industrial work.

The 19 graduates, all fifth-cohort students majoring in Automation and Industrial Electronics at Ly Thai To College, were recognised for their academic performance, professional discipline, technical competence and foreign-language proficiency.

Organisers said the programme has demonstrated the effectiveness of integrating technical education, language training and international experience. Beyond strengthening their vocational skills, students have developed the ability to work in multicultural environments, helping them meet the evolving demands of manufacturers and global supply chains.

The initiative reflects growing cooperation between educational institutions and industry in preparing a highly skilled workforce to support the manufacturing sector and international economic integration.

Vietnam launches comprehensive reform to improve vocational training quality for rural workers

By 2030, the programme targets providing vocational training, retraining and skills upgrading for approximately 1.5 million rural workers annually. The employment rate after training is expected to exceed 85%.

The “Digital Classroom” model follows five German-standard pillars covering digitalised school management, lecturer capacity building, interactive digital learning resources, modern teaching infrastructure, and stronger links between vocational schools and businesses. Industrial Technical College partners with Chinese institute for vocational training

BAC NINH - As part of a cooperation programme between Industrial Technical College, GoerTek Vina Science and Technology Co., Ltd. In Que Vo industrial park and Guangxi Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College in China, 53 students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering - Automation and the Faculty of Electronics - Informatics will join a six-month training course at Guangxi Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College from December 2025 to May 2026 (first cohort).
