Bac Ninh breaks ground on Lens Vietnam accommodation project worth nearly 1.177 trillion VND

BAC NINH – Authorities in Bac Ninh province has recently launched construction of a nearly 1.177 trillion VND (44.7 million USD) accommodation project developed by Lens Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd., aimed at providing high-quality housing for thousands of workers and foreign experts in Quang Chau Industrial Park.

The groundbreaking ceremony was launched on June 29 and attended by Pham Van Thinh, member of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee (PPC), along with representatives from provincial departments and Nenh Ward.

The project will be built on a site of more than 16,200 square metres and will comprise four 18-storey residential buildings, together with supporting facilities, technical infrastructure and public amenities.

Scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2028, the development will provide more than 1,600 standard accommodation units for workers and overseas specialists employed in the industrial park. The project also includes integrated service facilities designed to improve living conditions for residents.

Speaking at the ceremony, PPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh praised Lens Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. for its contributions to Bac Ninh's socio-economic development and reaffirmed the province's commitment to creating a more attractive investment environment.

He said Bac Ninh is striving to achieve its goal of becoming a centrally governed city in 2026, adding that the province will continue improving investment conditions, developing infrastructure in a coordinated manner and supporting businesses in expanding production, adopting advanced technologies and building a sustainable industrial ecosystem.

The provincial leader also instructed provincial agencies and local authorities to continue assisting investors by promptly resolving administrative and operational difficulties during project implementation.

He urged Lens Vietnam and construction contractors to mobilise resources to ensure the project is completed on schedule while maintaining construction quality, workplace safety and environmental sanitation, enabling the facility to begin operations as planned and contribute to improving workers' living standards and supporting the province's economic growth.
