Over 1.16 trillion VND to build Dong Son bridge

(BGO) – The management board of the project on building transport facilities in the northern province of Bac Giang has announced the construction of Dong Son bridge and paths to the bridge under the build and transfer (BT) form in Bac Giang city.

The project is invested by Tan Thinh Construction and Trading Co.Ltd under the BT contract with a total length of 10.62 km, including the 0.357-km Đong Son bridge and the 10.263-km paths to the bridge.
The first section will start from Highway 31 to provincial road 293, with road surface width of 2 x 10.5m and road-bed width of 42m.
The segment from provincial road 293 to the end of Dong Son bridge will have road surface width of 15m and road-bed width of 16.
The final part of Dong Son bridge to Highway 17 will have road surface width of 11m and road-bed width of 12m.
The project also includes the construction of two new bridges, namely Dong Son (357m long spanning Thuong river), and Van Son (21.1m long).
The project is being carried out from December 22, 2016 to 2018 with a total investment of over 1.16 trillion VND (50.9 million USD)./.
