When Covid-19 pandemic outbroke in 2021, Lens Technology was among many affected companies in the industrial parks. Since the disease was well controlled in last July, the business has taken effort to recover the difficulties, employ more labours, upgrade the production lines to increase the productivity. Also, it has actively searched for more markets and inked new contracts.
As the result, the products ensure quality, meet the order for the global supply chain which help the company earn high revenue. Remarkably, in the first eight months, Lens Technology paid total value added and business income taxes of some 36 billion VND to the budget, up nearly 10 billion VND year on year. The company plans to pay 20 billion VND more to the budget from now till this year end.
Since early this year, they have contributed about 839 billion VND to the provincial budget, accounting for about 70 percent of the yearly estimate and representing year on year increase. The paid amount by this business block greatly contributed to provincial budget collection in 8 months of 11 trillion VND, up nearly 30 percent year on year and making up about 90 percent of yearly target. |
Similarly, Nichirin Vietnam Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park paid some 26 billion VND to the state budget in 8-month period. After the pandemic was restrained, the company has focused on accelerating the production and business. This year, it targets to pay about 40 billion VND of tax to the provincial budget.
According to the provincial Taxation Department, the province now has 518 operating FDI companies mostly in the industrial parks. Since early this year, they have contributed about 839 billion VND to the provincial budget, accounting for about 70 percent of the yearly estimate and representing year on year increase. The paid amount by this business block greatly contributed to provincial budget collection in 8 months of 11 trillion VND, up nearly 30 percent year on year and making up about 90 percent of yearly target.
Multiplying humanitarian spirit
In spite of numerous difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic, the FDI enterprises have been pioneered in social welfare activities with the motto “doing business in associated with social responsibility”.
Particularly, Lens Technology handed over 300 million VND as the 2022 Lunar New Year gift to the poor and social policy families in Luc Ngan district (600 gift sets). Previously, the company donated 2 billion VND to provincial Covid-19 Vaccine Fund and disease prevention and control. For 5 years since operation, the company has mobilized dozens of billion VND for social and charitable activities in the province.

Luxshare – ICT Vietnam Co.,Ltd, Seojin Vietnam Co.,Ltd, Crytal Martin Vietnam Co.,Ltd …have launched several activities in response of social welfare programme by paying regular attention to the living condition and families of the labours, timely encouraging and supporting needy cases.
The provincial Fatherland Front’s Committee confirmed that the businesses in the province donated nearly 22 billion VND as the 2022 Tet gifts to the poor and policy families (over 42,800 packages) which was greatly contributed by FDI firms. Besides, they also presented dozens of billion VND to the provincial Fund of Covid-19 vaccine and prevention and control in 2021. The join effort from the companies brought huge meaning for community and society.
Head of the provincial Industrial Park Management Board (IPMB) Dao Xuan Cuong said to multiply the FDI business models who are good at business and active in social activities, annually IPMB launches social welfare programme and call on the participation from the business toward community.
