Particularly, the province has a pig herd of 970,000 heads with output of 177,000 tonnes; 20 million heads of poultry (17 million chickens) with total productivity of 98,000 tonnes; 33,000 buffaloes with total productivity of 1,600 tonnes; 120,000 cows with total output of 6,000 tonnes.

The livestock product serves 40 percent of consumption market in the province and adjacent localities with total value of over 9,570 billion VND (385.1 million USD), surging over 5.4 percent comparing to the plan.
