“Union meal” programme brings together more than 9,000 workers in Bac NInh
BAC NINH - In response to Workers’ Month and the 2026 Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd. organised a “Union Meal” programme on May 14 for more than 9,000 union members and employees at its Nenh Ward facility.
The event was attended by provincial officials including Than Trung Kien, head of the Cultural and Social Affairs Committee under the provincial People’s Council, and Thach Van Chung, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Labour Federation, along with representatives from the provincial Industrial Zones Authority and the Economic Security Division of the provincial police.

Operating in Bac Ninh since 2012, the foreign-invested garment manufacturer currently employs nearly 10,000 workers.
The company has implemented labour policies in line with regulations while maintaining jobs and incomes for employees and improving their material and spiritual well-being.
The company’s trade union has organised a range of activities aimed at motivating workers, including football tournaments, tug-of-war competitions, cultural exchange events and awards for outstanding teams and individuals.

The initiatives are intended to enhance workers’ cultural life, encourage physical fitness and boost productivity and product quality.
During the programme, more than 9,000 employees shared a special lunch in a festive and united atmosphere. Each meal was valued at 43,000 VND (1.63 USD) up 27,000 VND from the company’s standard daily meal allowance.
With an upgraded menu designed to ensure nutrition and food safety, the meal programme brought encouragement to workers after long working hours.

Organisers said the “Union Meal” initiative was aimed at strengthening ties between employees, the trade union and company management, while demonstrating care for workers’ welfare and creating additional motivation for production and workplace solidarity.
On the occasion, leaders of the provincial Labour Federation presented 150 gift packages to disadvantaged union members and workers employed at the company.
