Vietnam labour federation visits Luxshare-ICT in Bac Ninh
BAC NINH - A delegation from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, led by its President Nguyen Anh Tuan on April 3 visited Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd. at Van Trung Industrial Park of Bac Ninh province to review production activities, worker welfare and infrastructure challenges.
Local officials attending the meeting included Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, along with representatives from relevant departments.

Luxshare-ICT reported that it operates four major factories in Bac Ninh’s Van Trung and Quang Chau industrial parks, covering more than 700,000 square metres and employing around 45,500 workers. Of these, nearly 27,500 work at the Van Trung facility.
Average monthly income stands at about 9 million VND (over 340 USD) per worker, with full insurance and welfare benefits provided.

The company has also invested in dormitories, canteens and worker facilities to help stabilise living conditions and retain its workforce.
The firm’s trade union has been operating effectively, serving as a bridge between employees and management.

Company representatives expressed appreciation for the support from the national labour federation and Bac Ninh authorities, reaffirming their commitment to improving working conditions.
They also raised concerns over infrastructure issues, including localised traffic congestion, inadequate drainage systems and potential traffic safety risks linked to worker transport services.
The Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Viet Oanh said provincial authorities would work to address these issues in the coming period.
Concluding the meeting, President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Nguyen Anh Tuan praised Luxshare-ICT’s rapid expansion over the past decade in Bac Ninh and urged the provincial labour federation to promptly gather and address concerns from both businesses and workers.

He also called on the company to continue upgrading technology and management practices to enhance productivity and contribute further to local economic growth.
Tuan stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between company leadership and grassroots trade unions to better support workers and improve labour productivity.
During the visit, the delegation met with workers and presented 500 gifts to those in difficult circumstances and outstanding employees.
