110 kV Bac Giang - Lang Son line put in use

BAC GIANG - Bac Giang Power Company, Management Board of Electricity Development Project (Northern Electricity Corporation) and Song Da 11 Joint Stock Company have just coordinated to accept and energize phase 2 of the project to renovate 110 kV Bac Giang - Lang Son line.

The second level energy industrial project belongs to group B. It is constructed in Bac Giang and Lang Son provinces with a total investment of more than 272.2 billion VND (about 11.6 million USD) invested by Northern Electricity Corporation.

Accordingly, in phase 2 of the project, the investor has renovated the single-circuit 110 kV line, increased the wire cross section from AC 150 to ACSR 300 conductor with a line length of more than 4 km.

The starting point is the branch to the Lang Giang 110 kV substation while the ending point is the operational management boundary column between Bac Giang Power Company and Lang Son Power Company.

The project is completed and put into use, helping ensure the grid connection and enhance the reliability of power supply for Bac Giang and Lang Son provinces.

At the same time, it ensures safe operation, improves electricity supply reliability in Bac Giang City and the districts of Lang Giang, Tan Yen, Yen The, Hiep Hoa so as to meet the requirements of releasing capacity of 220 kV substations in Bac Giang and Lang Giang in the coming period.
