The closing and awarding ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, Head of the Steering Boad of the competition.

Among 149 project entries, the Jury selected to award 10 first prizes, 17 second prizes, 23 third prizes, 27 fourth prizes and 38 prospect prizes for the projects. Particularly, all of the 4 projects of Bac Giang delegation won prizes including 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 1 fourth prize. The second prize came to the project “Solution for jewellery stores to fight against robbery” in mechanical engineering sector by the group of students Duong Duc Minh and Hoang Ha Thao from Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong highly appreciated the passion for scientific research and creativity of the competitors, dedication of the teachers who instructed the students to implement the projects participating in the competition and proper collaboration and careful preparation by the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province, the host of the competition.
He expected that this competition would help to boost the scientific research activities at school and motivate students to carry out researches and flexibly apply the knowledge to real life. 
On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training also launched and awarded the hosting flag for the national science and technology competition for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.
