At the event, 457 outstanding students from 55 high schools in northern provinces and cities received Vallet scholarships in 2026, each worth 17 million VND (650 USD).

Of which, 19 Bac Ninh’s students, including 9 from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, 7 from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted and 3 from Ngo Si Lien High School were awarded this scholarship. These are students who gained outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Vallet Scholarship Programme was founded in1999 by Professor, Ph.D. Odon Vallet (a French Doctor of Law, Professor of Religious History and Writer) with an aim to contribute to education development by providing financial assistance for students with excellent academic results to enable them to approach high-quality education.

In Vietnam, Vallet Scholarship is coordinated, managed and awarded to students by the Meet Vietnam Association.

To date, the Vallet Scholarship awarded more than 55,000 scholarships with a total value exceeding 600 billion VND (approximately 23 million USD) to Vietnamese students.

Beyond financial assistance, Vallet Scholarship has empowered students to overcome difficulties and affirm their talent in study and research.

The Meet Vietnam Association is a non-profit scientific organization founded in France in 1993 by Professor Tran Thanh Van and his wife, Professor Le Kim Ngoc to support science and education development and connect Vietnamese intellectuals to the world.

Samsung awards scholarships to more than 300 disadvantaged students in Bac Ninh
