Bac Giang ward, Kinh Bac ward and Southwestern region (including wards of Bac Giang, Kinh Bac, Da Mai, Yen Dung, Que Vo, Tu Son, Thuan Thanh; communes of Phat Tich, Yen Phong, Gia Binh, Luong Tai and surrounding areas) will be cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate to heavy rain. The Southeast wind is at level 2-3. Temperatures will range between 25°C and 30°C, with an average humidity of 89%.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Vietnam’s wood industry seeks higher value

According to the Vietnam Timber and Forest Product Association (VIFORE) , about 74% of timber from planted forests is currently used to make wood chips and pellets, while 18% goes into plywood and laminated veneer lumber (LVL). Although these products consume around 80% of the raw material supply, they generate only about 3-4 billion USD of the sector’s total export turnover of 18 billion USD.
