2 students from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted win US scholarships
BAC GIANG - On May 16, Tran Duy Phuong, Principal of Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, informed that two 12th graders of the school have just won scholarships from prestigious universities in the US. They are Ta Thuy Trang (born 2006) in Mathematics class and Pham Tuan Cuong (born 2006) in Chemistry class.
Ta Thuy Trang has excellently received scholarships with a total value of nearly 357,400 USD (nearly 8.8 billion VND) from three leading universities in the US: University of Tulsa, Simmons University, University of South Florida. This is a scholarship for excellent candidates from many countries around the world.

Ta Thuy Trang is expected to complete admission procedures to Computer Science major in the University of South Florida at the end of August 2024. When studying at this University, she will receive a scholarship of 11,000 USD per year (about 270 million VND/year).
Trang scored 9.3 on average high school transcript, 7.0 on the IELTS and 1520 on the SAT. In addition, she also participates in many extracurricular and humanitarian activities.
Surpassing thousands of candidates around the world, Pham Tuan Cuong received scholarships with a total value of more than 408,000 USD (nearly 10 billion VND) from 4 prestigious universities in the US: University of South Florida, The University of Alabama, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT); Michigan State University.

Pham Tuan Cuong will complete the admission procedures to Computer Science major at the New Jersey Institute of Technology at the end of August 2024. At this university, Cuong was granted a scholarship of more than 40,000 USD per year (nearly 1 billion VND per year).
Cuong scored 8.0 on the IELTS and 1520 on the SAT. Together with a group of 4 students, Cuong won the first prize at the 19th Innovation Contest for Bac Giang’s youth and teenager in 2023.

BAC GIANG- Thanks to his good study results, passion for scientific research in line with the help of his teachers, encouragement of his family and his own efforts, the young man named Nguyen Van Duc born in Dai Son village, Minh Duc commune, Viet Yen township won a PhD full scholarship to a prestigious university in the US.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has announced that the Romanian Government will grant 21 scholarships to Vietnamese citizens in 2024 to study in the European country.
At least 2,000 Vietnamese students will be sponsored by Taiwan with plane tickets, tuition fees, and living expenses to study in semiconductor and engineering fields this year.
