The figure brings the total number of newly-established businesses in Bac Giang in the first nine months to 947, increasing 56.7 percent with combined registered capital of 9 trillion VND (some 394.5 million USD), down 11.8 percent over the same period last year (excluding An Khanh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, the figure increased 45 percent) and achieving 94.7 percent of the yearly target.

Meanwhile, the halted or dissolved enterprises were fiercely down comparing to the same period last year. In the first nine months, only 46 firms halted operations, down 11.5 percent and 110 others were dissolved locally, down 63 percent to the figure one year ago.
