Bac Ninh seeks to attract more investment from Chinese partners

Updated: 13:43, 05/11/2025

BAC NINH – Following a memorandum of understanding between the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province and the People’s Government of Nanning city, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), the province plans to further strengthen cooperation and attract more Chinese investors in the coming period.

Bac Ninh aims to draw investment from Chinese enterprises, particularly those from Nanning, in high-tech and sustainable industries. Priority sectors include electronics, computers and optical products, digital technology, semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, green energy, electrical equipment, clean-energy vehicles, rubber and plastic products, mechanical manufacturing and food processing.

Bac Ninh seeks to attract more investment from Chinese partners.

Provincial leaders said the cooperation aligns with efforts to deepen regional economic linkages and enhance the effectiveness of the trade agreement between the governments of Vietnam and China.

Bac Ninh also intends to promote stronger business connections between the two countries, supporting domestic enterprises’ participation in global supply chains. Chinese companies are encouraged to transfer technology, share digital transformation expertise, and exchange management experience with local firms.

The province hopes Chinese partners will assist in trade promotion, market development, and the expansion of export channels for Bac Ninh’s key agricultural and traditional products to China. Notable local specialties include lychees, citrus fruits and handicrafts.

In addition, Bac Ninh expects to send trade delegations to China for market surveys, product promotion, and business-matching events. The province also welcomes opportunities to take part in bilateral business forums and online meetings with Chinese investors.

Officials emphasized that Bac Ninh remains committed to building an open, transparent, and investor-friendly environment. The province has become a hub for global electronics and manufacturing investors, hosting projects from multinational corporations such as Samsung, Foxconn and Canon.

By expanding cooperation with Chinese partners, Bac Ninh seeks not only to attract new investment but also to foster technology exchange, green production and sustainable industrial growth.
