The Department of Natural Resources and Environment leads 20 departments and branches of the province, followed by the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Ethnic Minority Board and the Department of Foreign Affairs ranked last in the list.

Regarding the districts and cities, Bac Giang City continued to be the leading unit. Viet Yen and Lang Giang district secured second and third position respectively. Son Dong district ranked bottom in the list for two consecutive year.

Compared to 2022, the level of digital readiness in departments and branches has many fluctuations in rankings, while districts and cities are basically stable.

General assessment shows that in recent times, departments, branches and district-level People's Committees have actively implemented many solutions to promote digital transformation by increasing investment in facilities and equipment; building specialized databases; accelerating communication to raise the rate of online submission and payments through the National Public Service Portal.

Leaders of units and localities are also fiercely promoting the digiatal transformation within the agency; focusing on training and fostering human resources to be in charge of digital transformation.

In September 2022, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a set of indexes to evaluate the digital transformation in Bac Giang province. This is one of the bases for agencies, units and localities to review and have solutions to solve the shortcomings, limitations so as to further improve the direction and implementation of digital transformation work.
