Bac Giang has 3 typical agricultural products nationwide
BAC GIANG - The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has just recognized 100 typical products of cooperatives nationwide in 2024. Bac Giang province has three recognized products, including: Luc Ngan Hong Xuan lychee of Hong Xuan Agricultural Production and General Service Cooperative (Luc Ngan); flower buds of Danh mountain ginseng of Lien Chung Danh Mountain Ginseng Production and Consumption Cooperative (Tan Yen); Yen The hill chicken of Yen The "Green" Agricultural Cooperative.
Among these, Luc Ngan Hong Xuan lychee is the first and only 5-star OCOP product of Bac Giang province to date. The entire lychee area of the Cooperative is produced according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards with high quality, convenient consumption, meeting the requirements of some demanding markets.

The flower bud product of Danh mountain ginseng, which was rated 4-star OCOP, was a typical agricultural product of the province in 2023 with an output of about 10 tonnes of dried flower buds per year. The entire Cooperative has 35 hectares of Danh mountain ginseng, nearly 5 hectares of which are grown in line with VietGAP standards, 5 hectares are grown in line with organic standards.
Yen The hill chicken is a 4-star OCOP product of the province, protected by industrial property rights in many countries.
The owners of these above products will participate in the "Coop Gold Awards 2024” ceremony to honor typical products of the cooperative and the first Mai An Tiem award ceremony scheduled to be held in December 2024 in Bac Lieu province.
BAC GIANG - Bac Giang has many typical and quality industrial and rural agricultural products. The province has recently prioritized industrial promotion funding to support rural industrial establishments with selected products, especially products participating in the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP), thereby helping enhance competitiveness, product value and income for people.
BAC GIANG - Bac Giang province has recently focused on directing departments, sectors and organizations to coordinate with localities to support businesses, cooperatives and people in designing and completing packaging, labels and traceability stamps for products, especially key and typical products participating in the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP).
BAC GIANG - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just coordinated to open 2024 Mekong Delta OCOP (One Commune One Product) product connection forum in Kien Giang province. Bac Giang province displays a booth to introduce a number of local OCOP products.
BAC GIANG - Thanh Hoa province launched a space to display and introduce agricultural, industrial and handicraft products of provinces and cities in the Northern region from August 16 – 18, including Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Hai Duong, Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh and Son La.
BAC GIANG - Facing the pressure of urbanization and shrinking agricultural land area, Bac Giang city has focused on exploiting local advantages, effectively implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program to promote internal strength and increase value.
After 5 years of implementation, the "One Commune, One Product" (OCOP) programme has been comprehensively and widely carried out in all localities across the country. It is considered a crucial solution and task in executing the National Target Programme for building new-style rural areas during the 2021-2025 period.
