Bac Giang leads country in economic growth
BAC GIANG - According to the General Statistics Office, Bac Giang's economy continues to highly grow and lead the country. Particularly, the second quarter growth rate is estimated to reach 14.31%, bringing economic growth in the first 6 months of 2024 to 14.14%, helping the northern province top localities nationwide.
Of which, the industry and service sector has the highest increase of 18.11%.
This result is achieved thanks to the continued improvement of the business investment environment. The enterprises have gradually restored production and business.

The investment attraction achieves more positive results. From the beginning of the year until now, the whole province has attracted more than 1.1 billion USD, an increase of 7.6% over the same period in 2023.
To maintain the growth, Bac Giang continues to synchronously implement solutions, focusing on supporting and removing difficulties and obstacles for businesses, promoting production and business, accelerating the site clearance and disbursement of public investment capital as well as ensuring stable agricultural production.

BAC GIANG - In recent years, Bac Giang province has gained many positive results in industrial development with stable growth rate. A number of new projects have come into effective operation. This success has been achieved thanks to enormous contributions of electricity sector, which ensure power supply to meet the province’s demand for industrial development.
BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) on May 21 held regular meeting in May under the chair of PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong. The event was attended by Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; three Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Mai Son, Le O Pich, Phan The Tuan.
BAC GIANG - On May 16 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced Vietnam's Import and Export Report in 2023. Thouth the country's export turnover was down 4.6% compared to 2022, it still reached nearly 355 billion USD.
BAC GIANG – The provincial Department of Science and Technology has recommended many solutions to innovate metrology, thus promoting production development and improving competitiveness for local businesses.
