Bac Giang provincial leader attends “Dialogue for Vietnam - U.S Agri Businesses

(BGO) – On the sidelines of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s trip to the US, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) Phan The Tuan attended seminar themed “Dialogue for Vietnam - U.S Agri Businesses” on May 13 (local time) in Washington D.C.

The event was co-chaired by Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and American Chamber of Commerce. At the seminar, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan inked the memorandum of understanding between Bac Giang PPC and Emission Resource Group Inc (ERG) of the US about promoting cooperation to consume lychee and other farm produces of the province to the US and introducing environmental treatment technology in Bac Giang during 2022 – 2025 period.

Particularly, two sides promote cooperation in exporting Bac Giang provincial farm produces, especially lychee, Chu rice noodle, honey to the US market and other demanding ones; protect environment in Bac Giang province by establishing factory to effectively treat various wastes of living, technology, medical…by advanced technology; expand cooperation in fields that give mutual benefit to the economic development in Bac Giang, ERG and ERG’s partners.

Accordingly, Bac Giang PPC will facilitate the implementation of goals by supporting from local relevant departments, sectors, agencies and localities within their condition, introducing qualified and potential agencies and businesses to join hands with ERG to realize necessary steps to achieve the set targets.

ERG and Vietnamese partners execute the agreed contents with Bac Giang province.
