Over 1,500 performers to join grand art show celebrating establishment of new Bac Ninh province
BAC NINH – More than 1,500 artists, amateur performers and students will participate in a special art programme marking the establishment of the new Bac Ninh province at 7:30 p.m. on July 4, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
The event, themed “Bac Ninh – A thousand years of heritage, rising in the new era,” will last 120 minutes and comprise three chapters: “The flow of history – A thousand years of heritage,” “From traditional craft villages to the northern industrial hub,” and “Shining land of aspiration.”

The programme will be held at two venues: the February 3 Square in Bac Giang ward and the Kinh Bac Cultural Center Square in Kinh Bac ward. Organizers described it as the largest concert ever staged in the province, featuring many renowned artists, including some native to Bac Ninh.
A major highlight will be the mass performance by over 1,500 artists, amateur performers and students from local schools and art troupes to the song “Bac Bling” by singers Hoa Minzy and Tuan Cry.
The show will also include special Quan ho folk singing performances and dance acts by People’s Artists Quoc Hung and Thuy Huong, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy and singers Anh Tho, Trong Tan, Bui Le Man, Hoa Minzy, Tuan Cry, Luong Nguyet Anh, Tran Tung Anh, Bao Tram and Ngoc Ky.
Other attractions will be a drone light show and high-altitude fireworks display. For the first time, outdoor hologram performances, 3D mapping and top modern staging technologies will be applied in a local open-air art show.

The large stage equipped with advanced technology will vividly depict Bac Ninh’s heroic history and cultural quintessence in a contemporary narrative style. The event will also introduce numerous new compositions celebrating Bac Ninh’s heritage.
The programme aims to honor Bac Ninh’s historical and cultural values while showcasing the province’s vision, integration capacity, and breakthrough aspirations in the new context.
It is expected to inspire excitement among officials and residents, fostering unity and determination to successfully implement reforms and further develop the province.
