The tourism activities have recently flourished in the province. In 2024, several major events took place in the province such as: Culture - Tourism Week and the opening of Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival, the 140th Anniversary of Yen The Uprising and the Van Village Mud Ball Wrestling Festival (Viet Yen township) and attracted a large number of tourists.

At the same time, thanks to invested infrastructure, Bac Giang hosts many national and international sports events and tournaments. Each event attracts thousands of athletes, their support staff and relatives. The province's accommodation services basically meet the requirements.

According to statistics, the whole province currently has 445 tourist accommodation service establishments including: one 4-star hotel, ten 3-star hotels, 30 hotels rated 1-2 star and motels with about 5,000 rooms, mainly concentrated in Bac Giang city and more than 1,200 dinning facilities.

Nguyen Trung Thanh, a sales staff at Muong Thanh Hotel, said: “The hotel has 195 rooms to accommodate more than 400 people. The rooms are modernly and luxuriously designed, fully equipped, with diverse dining services, massage, sauna, swimming pool, and gym.”

In addition to Muong Thanh Hotel, Bac Giang City has many 2-3 star hotels and motels with and highly appreciated service quality such as: SOJO Bac Giang Hotel on Nguyen Van Cu Street; Hai An Hotel on Ca Trong Street with a scale of 100-120 rooms with full amenities and a system of restaurants, buffet restaurants, entertainment cafes, gyms, yoga areas...

In the coming time, more tourists are forecast to visit Bac Giang. In the last months of this year, the province will host national sports competitions such as Jujitsu Championship, Billiard Snooker Pool Championship, Team Sepak Takraw... which will attract a large number of participants.

Moreover, the Bac Giang Newspaper Half Marathon 2024 to be held in this October is expected to draw thousands of athletes from inside and outside the province.

To achieve the goal of attracting 3 million tourists by 2025, the provincial authorities, functional agencies, the business community and tourism workers have paid due attention to overcoming limitations, focusing on investing in upgrading accommodation facilities, developing entertainment services... to "retain" tourists.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has increased the application of technology in developing tourism products, promoting and providing information about restaurants, hotels, accommodation facilities and dinning places for tourists.

According to Do Tuan Khoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department will continue to coordinate with relevant units to advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to issue appropriate mechanisms and policies to attract businesses to invest in tourism development.

The province's policy is to strengthen the development of services in localities, upgrade accommodation, entertainment and night services, helping promote tourism activities.
