Bac Giang’s DoFA visits and extends Tet greeting to KOICA

(BGO) – On December 12, Pham Duong Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) in Bac Giang province paid visit and extended Tet greeting to Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The delegation was received by the Country Director Cho Han-Deog.

At the meeting, Pham Duong Tuyen thanked KOICA for the recent assistance to the province, typically in Covid-19 prevention and control and implementation of smart city project from Korean ODA capital.

The Deputy Director also briefed the host on the plan to organize Meeting to Korean business in the first quarter in 2022 in Bac Giang and invited the Country Director to attend the event. He suggested KOICA to pay attention to introducing a Korean locality to Bac Giang so that two provinces can establish local level cooperative relationship in the upcoming time.

On his turn, KOICA’s Country Director Cho Han-Deog expressed his gratitude to the true emotion from Bac Giang to the organization and confirmed that after the pandemic is well controlled, KOICA will further support the officials and public cadres in Bac Giang province to participate in training course to enhance qualification in Korea.

Relating to the smart city project under execution in Bac Giang city, he recommended the municipal People’s Committee to consult and research the smart city model implemented by KOICA in Thua Thien Hue province so as to complete the next steps following this way.

The leader of Bac Giang provincial DoFA extended best wishes on New Year occasion to the leader, officials and staff at KOICA.
