Updated: 16:47, 17/09/2026

BAC NINH - LICOGI13FC Joint Stock Company on September 16 broke ground on a social housing project in Phuong Hoang New Urban Area in Tien Phong Ward, Bac Ninh province, with total investment of more than 1.995 trillion VND (76.7 million USD).

The project covers about 3.13 hectares and comprises five 21-storey social housing apartment buildings, each with one basement. With a total floor area of about 155,492 square metres, the project is expected to provide around 1,660 apartments ranging from 25 to 77 square metres.

Deputy Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong and representatives of provincial departments and agencies present flowers to congratulate the project's investor.

The development, commercially named Phoenix Homes, will also include a community centre, technical infrastructure, gardens and landscaped green spaces.

It is designed to meet housing demand among beneficiaries of social housing policies, including low-income people, workers, engineers and employees working in the province.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Lai Van Mac, Deputy Chairman of the board and General Director of LICOGI13FC, said the company would mobilise resources to keep the project on schedule and comply with commitments made to the provincial authorities.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong said social housing development was a key policy aimed at improving living conditions, particularly for workers contributing to local economic and social development.

Delegates perform the groundbreaking ceremony.

As of September 2026, Bac Ninh has 132 social housing and worker accommodation projects, expected to provide about 144,200 apartments.

Of these, 33 projects with around 25,900 apartments have been completed, while 99 projects involving about 118,300 apartments are at various stages of development.

The Phoenix Homes project is expected to be completed within 36 months, adding about 1,660 social housing apartments and providing accommodation for around 3,100 people.
