Bac Ninh highly concentrates on land clearance for Gia Binh international airport
BAC NINH- Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Hoang Son on January 26 hosted a conference to seek solutions for speeding up land clearance progress of Gia Binh airport project. This is a virtual conference with the main venue at the PPC’s headquarter connected to Luong Tai and Gia Binh communes.
To date, the land clearance for Gia Binh airport and its related projects has gained positive results. In line with the core project, land clearance progress of resettlement areas, cemeteries and related projects have been promptly implemented when many localities have paid compensation for phase 1, boosting land handover for construction.

At the conference, the participants concentrated on clarifying the issues relating the inventory and land clearance planning as well as land clearance compensation policies for Gia Binh airport and the outcomes of the review and arrangement of temporary resettlement to for the first phase of relocation.
Concluding the conference, PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son urged the provincial Land Fund Development Center, as the focal agency, to promote closer and more effective collaboration with related departments and agencies, investor and communal people’s committees in resolving limitations and obstacles.
The PPC Chairman stressed the provincial Land Fund Development Center must continue collaborating with the communal people’s committees and public security force to complete inventory, land origin identification and legal documents of the remaining households. It is expected to finalize the residential land compensation plan by 30 January 2026.
He added the system of compensation and support policies issued by the Central Government and the province has been basically completed. Therefore, relevant units should proactively develop implementation plans in accordance with the current regulations, ensuring no delays.
During the implementation process, if any difficulties or obstacles arise, the specialized departments must promptly provide guidance and have definitive responses.
