Since the administrative merger, a spirit of innovation has spread from government agencies and enterprises to local communities, becoming a key driver of socio-economic growth, improving people’s lives and supporting sustainable integration.

In the context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, innovation has become a decisive factor. From early 2025, the Bac Ninh Party Committee and People’s Committee have implemented Resolution 57 with concrete programs and action plans.

The central goal is to turn innovation into a “new development culture,” with science, technology and digital transformation as the main engines.

New mechanisms have been introduced, including policies to attract talent, reform budget management for R&D, and acceptance of investment risks. These measures have given businesses confidence to invest in science and technology.

The province currently has nearly 45,000 registered enterprises. Campaigns encouraging technological innovation and digital management have gained momentum, fostering individual creativity and raising productivity.

At Suntech, an electronics manufacturing company in Thanh Van Industrial Cluster, the atmosphere in production workshops is bustling. Established in 2013, the firm specializes in processing and assembling electronic components such as earphones, connectors and phone parts for Samsung.

Director Tran Van Thi said the company strives to deliver high-quality products and on-time shipments through professional production processes.

It has launched monthly awards for “Excellent Production Teams” and “Outstanding Workers,” based on criteria such as exceeding output targets, adopting standard techniques, and introducing technical improvements. Exemplary workers are rewarded and promoted to management positions.

To strengthen digital infrastructure, the government has pledged incentives for telecom firms to install at least 20,000 5G stations nationwide in 2025, with subsidies covering up to 15% of investment value.

Bac Ninh currently has about 290 5G stations, serving around 50% of its population, with a target of 80% coverage by the end of 2025.

In public administration, since August 2025 the provincial People’s Committee has launched the “Digital literacy for all” campaign to help residents complete online procedures within their communities.

Bac Ninh’s economy ranks among the top five in Vietnam. Resolution 57 has become a strategic foundation for comprehensive development.

Economic results in the first eight months of 2025 showed significant progress: the industrial production index rose 16.19% year-on-year, exports in August reached an estimated 8.7 billion USD, up 33.01%, maintaining the province’s top position nationwide. Budget revenue in the first eight months exceeded 50.3 trillion VND, equivalent to 88.5% of the annual plan.

Officials attributed the gains to strong implementation of Resolution 57, with agencies adopting flexible, creative approaches and diverse emulation movements to translate objectives into practice.

The innovation campaign has helped reshape management thinking and foster a culture of creativity across society. Many major projects in different sectors have achieved positive results, completing on or ahead of schedule thanks to the push for innovation.
