Bac Ninh promotes e-commerce startups
BAC NINH- The Customs Sub-department of Region 5 on December 4 organised a conference between the taxation authorities and enterprises in 2025 at Kinh Bac Cultural Center (Vu Ninh ward), marking the first time import and export turnover exceeded 200 billion USD and honoring outstanding enterprises in the localities under their management (Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces).
Particularly, the import-export revenue in 11 months of 2025 reached 208.118 billion USD, equivalent to 126.42 percent against 2024. This is the first time import-export revenue in the localities under management of the Sub-department surpassed 200 billion USD.

This result demonstrated the growth and significant contributions of businesses in the 2 provinces as well as the role of Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen and neighbouring provinces as manufacturing and export centers in the global supply chain.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ngo Tan Phuong congratulated the results gained by the Customs Sub-department of Region 5.
He stressed that the figure of 200 billion USD not only reflects the growing commerce scale but also demonstrates the dramatic qualitative transformation of the economy, affirming the resilience, adaptability and innovative spirit of the business community.

The leaders of Bac Ninh province always commit to fostering administrative reform, improving investment and business climate and ensuring transparency, publicity and convenience in assessing information and administrative procedures.
On this occasion, the Customs Sub-department of Region 5 honoured top 10 enterprises with big import-export turnover and top 10 enterprises with great contributions to state budget in the 2 provinces.
