Bustling harvest season in Bac Ninh
BAC NINH - Across communes and wards that previously belonged to Luc Ngan District such as Chu, Luc Ngan, Phuong Son, Nam Duong and Kien Lao, the harvest season for oranges and pomelos is now in full swing. With more than 8,000 hectares of citrus trees, these localities are expected to supply the market with tens of thousands of tonnes of high-quality, food-safe oranges and pomelos.
As the fruit ripens, cooperatives and orchard owners are sprucing up tourism sites, fruit gardens, service points, rural roads and urban streets, while ensuring environmental sanitation and public security. The efforts aim to attract visitors and meet the demand for tourism and product consumption.
