174 out of 237 students from Bac Ninh province participating in the exam won prizes including 10 first prizes, 58 second prizes, 52 third prizes and 54 consolation prizes. Bac Ninh province ranked 6th nationwide with these achievements.

Particularly, it bagged 20 prizes in Mathematics (2 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes), 19 prizes in Physics (1 first, 8 second, 5 third and 5 consolation prizes), 19 prizes in Chemistry (6 second, 7 third and 6 consolation prizes), 16 prizes in Biology (2 first, 6 second, 7 third and 1 consolation prizes), 18 prizes in Informatics (1 first, 5 second, 6 third and 6 consolation prizes), 16 prizes in Literature (7 second, 5 third and 4 consolation prizes), 16 prizes in History (1 first, 5 second, 7 third and 3 consolation prizes), 16 prizes in Geography (2 first, 3 second, 5 third and 6 consolation prizes), 12 prizes in English (1 first, 6 second, 4 third and 1 consolation prizes), 17 prizes in Chinese (2 second, 2 third and 13 consolation prizes), 4 prizes in French (2 third and 2 consolation prizes) and 1 consolation prize in Japanese.

The 10 first prizes came to the students of Bac Giang High School for the Gifted including Do Anh Duc (in Mathematics), Than Duc Chinh (in Biology) and Lau Khanh Huyen (in History) and those from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted consisting of Nguyen Duc Hien (in Mathematics), Ta Ngoc Minh (in Physics), Dang Tai Huy (in Biology), Nguyen Ta Quang Minh (in Informatics), Ngo Quang Thang (in Geography), Trinh Thi Trang (in Geography) and Nguyen Manh Cuong (in English).

The students won prizes in most of the subjects. Apart from the students of the High Schools for the Gifted, 1 student from Son Dong High School No 1, located in a mountainous disadvantage area in Bac Ninh province, won second prize in Informatics.

Officials, party members set good examples in streamlining apparatus

BAC GIANG- Together with the whole nation, the northern province of Bac Giang has been implementing rearrangement of organizational apparatus towards “streamlined, powerful, efficient and effective” political system. Vietnamese students top ASEAN in Math, Reading under SEA-PLM 2024

Vietnam continued to lead the region in both key areas. The average Reading score was 323.5 points and Mathematics 334.6 points, maintaining the top positions despite slight declines from 2019. Some 66% of Vietnamese pupils reached advanced proficiency in Reading while the regional average was 40% and 88% in Mathematics with the regional average reaching 36%.

 

All 6 Hanoi students win medals at 22nd International Junior Science Olympiad

All six students representing Vietnam at the 22nd International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO 2025) in Russia have won medals, securing three silvers and three bronzes, according to Hanoi’s Department of Education and Training.
