Bac Ninh ranks fourth nationwide in public service performance index
BAC NINH - The northern province of Bac Ninh has climbed to fourth place among 34 provinces and centrally run cities nationwide in the Public Service Performance Index for citizens and businesses, according to results published on the National Public Service Portal.
As of March 1, 2026, Bac Ninh recorded a total score of 95.73 points in the evaluation, reflecting strong performance in handling administrative procedures and delivering online public services.

The province achieved consistently high results across all component indicators. The transparency and publicity index reached the maximum 18/18 points, while the online public service index also scored a perfect 20/20 points. The satisfaction index recorded 18/18 points, the processing progress index reached 19.51/20 points, and the dossier digitization index achieved 20.22 out of 22 points.
Officials said the perfect score for online public services and the high rate of dossier digitization demonstrate the province’s strong push toward digital transformation and the application of information technology in administrative reform. These efforts aim to reduce the time and costs associated with administrative procedures for both citizens and businesses.
Statistics show that during the first two months of 2026, authorities across Bac Ninh received more than 222,600 administrative procedure applications. Of these, more than 104,500 were handled at the provincial level, while the remainder were processed at the commune level.
So far, provincial agencies have resolved more than 54,400 applications, with 99.3% completed on or ahead of schedule. At the commune level, more than 108,800 applications have been processed, with the rate of on-time and early resolution reaching 99.9%.
