He affirmed that Aeon Mall Vietnam is committed to long-term investment and sustainable development in Vietnam.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Hoang Son concludes the working session.

He expressed confidence that the project in Tan Tien ward will contribute positively to the province’s socio-economic development, create jobs, improve the quality of commercial infrastructure, and meet the needs of local residents as well as experts and workers living and working in the area.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary Thai expressed his pleasure that Aeon Mall continues to show interest in promoting the project during the early days of the new spring.

He noted that after the administrative unit reorganisation, the province’s actual population has reached nearly 4 million people. Bac Ninh is currently an industrial centre, with its economic scale ranking fifth nationwide, and is striving to become a centrally governed city before 2030.

The province is ready to accompany and support the project within the framework of Vietnamese law so that it can soon commence construction and come into operation, serving the people of Bac Ninh and neighbouring areas.

Earlier that same afternoon, Pham Hoang Son, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting with Aeon Mall Vietnam and Newland Investment JSC regarding the transfer and implementation of the project.

The project, a commercial centre combined with office business and tourism activities, had previously had its auction plan approved and the auction result was recognised for Newland Investment JSC.

The project was granted an investment registration certificate with an implementation timeline of 36 months starting from August 2025.

To date, the company has basically completed land filling and site preparation and has proposed transferring the entire project to Aeon Mall Vietnam in accordance with the 2025 Investment Law and other relevant regulations.
