At the meeting, representatives of the enterprises recommended some development cooperation contents in the city including supporting primary education facilities through Korea’s Lions Clubs and organizing regular eSports tournaments in Bac Ninh.

MPC Vice Chairman Mai Son agrees with the proposal to hold an esports tournament in Bac Ninh City.

Regarding the plan for organizing eSports tournaments, Director of VTC Online Joint Stock Company (VTC Online) Le Viet Hoa proposed hosting a large-scale offline grand final of the CrossFire Vietnam League (CFVL) in Bac Ninh.

This initiative would lay the groundwork for organizing annual eSports events in the future. The programme will combine networking activities, competitions and cultural experiences for athletes and spectators attending the tournament.

The representative of VTC Online also requested Bac Ninh city to support the procedures for obtaining permits to organize the tournament, recommend suitable venue, coordinate media coverage through local channels, facilitate accommodation and logistical arrangements for participating teams and introduce cultural and tourist attractions to both domestic and international athletes.

Besides, he also proposed Bac Ninh city sign a strategic cooperation agreement with VTC Online in educational sector.

VTC Online is committed to providing educational technology resources and effectively applying international standards to help the city's education sector promptly fulfill its key tasks in achieving breakthroughs in education and training development while enhancing digital competencies among students, public officials and workers.

At the meeting, representatives of related departments and agencies also discussed and gave opinions on infrastructure conditions, operation collaboration, communication and legal procedures.

Concluding the meeting, the MPC Vice Chairman Mai Son highly appreciated and agreed with the practical recommendations by the enterprises and sponsor.

He stressed Bac Ninh city has rich history and culture with a large number of heritages, beautiful landscapes and meaningful stories, which can become source of inspiration for developing video game contents that combines entertainment with introduction and promotion of cultural heritages.

Furthermore, the development of eSports matches the cultural industry development strategy, which will contribute to realizing the goal of building Bac Ninh into a green, civilized and modern city imbued with cultural identities.

Firstly, the municipal leaders agreed to jointly organize the national eSports tournament in 2027 with an aim to host international tournaments in Bac Ninh in the future.

Besides, the MPC Vice Chairman assigned related departments and agencies to promptly collaborate with VTC Online to complete the cooperation plan.
