Under the agreements, the university plans to develop an employer-led training model, with businesses participating in curriculum design and student competency assessments.
Students will gain greater access to workplaces through internships and practical experience, while developing professional skills before graduation.
For participating businesses, the cooperation provides access to potential recruits and an opportunity to help train workers whose skills match their staffing requirements.
The partnerships will also facilitate professional exchanges, technology updates and the sharing of practical experience with lecturers, supporting improvements in teaching methods to better meet labour market demands.
East Asia University said it would help promote partner businesses through its communication channels and provide access to its facilities, including classrooms, offices, research rooms and an auditorium with a capacity of up to 1,800 people, for seminars, networking events and technology transfer activities.
The agreements are expected to strengthen links between the university, businesses and students, helping graduates develop professional competencies and better meet employers' requirements in an increasingly competitive labour market.
